Do you ever have those moments where you question everything you’re doing?
Those moments where you start to think quitting is an option?
The nights when nothing is going right no matter how hard you try to change your attitude?
The days that it’s supposed to come together and it doesn’t?
When the “yes” you were certain you were going to get backfires into a momentarily, soul crushing no?
The times you’ve knocked on so many doors and you aren’t sure it’s worth knocking anymore?
The endless nights of practice at home and entries fees paid and your name is still nowhere to be found in the standings? The moment you start to feel numb to the rejection?
The patience and the waiting while taking action everyday, but from your viewpoint it feels like you’re going to be in sloth mode forever?
KEEP GOING!!!
Fight through that last rep.
Rope that next calf.
Nod your head one more time.
Make one more phone call.
DIG DEEPER.
Take that next lesson.
Laugh at that mess up.
Apply for that next opportunity.
Ask that one more question.
Remember your why.
Enter that next rodeo.
Give yourself that grace.
Smile that smile.
Pray those prayers.
Thank the good Lord for the blessing you DO have. AND then….DO IT AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN!
Do it until you’re unstoppable. Do it until you’re the only option. Maybe you start as the last resort, but you still started! You stuck with it until it was your turn. Then, do it again!
Show them what you’re made of! Show them that your waiting season wasn’t a season of waiting at all. It was a season of preparation!
